It proposed that by the end of the 12th Five Year Plan, the total amount of urban gas supply would be about 178.2 billion cubic meters, an increase of 113% over the end of the 11th Five Year Plan. Undoubtedly, this macro positive news will promote the further popularization of gas water heater equipment in cities and towns, and then promote the growth of gas water heater industry.

China's gas water heater market share has maintained an increase of about 20% in recent years, especially in the primary and secondary city market. Driven by the high growth of real estate in previous years, the rapid growth of gas water heater products is more obvious. At the same time, driven by the policy of home appliances going to the countryside, the third and fourth level markets of gas water heaters in some areas with perfect gas pipe network and more developed economy can also be partially covered.

The prerequisite for the sustainable growth of gas-fired water heaters, especially in the urban market, is to have extensive gas coverage. The just released plan proposes that by the end of the 12th Five Year Plan, the gas penetration rate in cities will reach more than 94%, and that in counties and small towns will reach more than 65%.
