Vice Mayor Tan Qiwei introduced that at present, Chongqing has a developed modern industrial system, a convenient comprehensive transportation network, the most preferential economic policies in China and the most competitive comprehensive cost advantage. Against the backdrop of the international financial crisis, GDP still grew by 14.7% last year. "Chongqing's good development momentum has given birth to unlimited business opportunities. We are willing to share it with friends in Sydney and around the world."

At yesterday's forum, more than ten enterprises including Chongqing Construction Group, Lifan Group, three warm central water heater and Wanzhou Yuquan mustard signed contract orders with Australian enterprises with a total amount of US $20 million.
