It is reported that the "made in Chongqing" water heater ordered by Bosch to our city this time has completely independent intellectual property rights, and the products have obtained AGA certification, the highest standard in the industry in the world. "It is a five-star condensing gas water heater, which can improve the thermal efficiency of the water heater to more than 95% and reduce the thermal insulation energy consumption by 50%." The relevant person in charge of the company said that at present, the product has registered two trademarks in India and Australia and has more than 40 national patents. It has been successfully exported to Australia, Colombia, New Zealand, India, the Philippines and other countries.

In this regard, Yuan Jie, director of the Municipal Intellectual Property Office, said that in recent years, Chongqing small and medium-sized enterprises have gradually realized that in international competition, they should rely on independent intellectual property rights to improve their competitiveness and rely on their own technology to gain a foothold in the international market. He said that according to the relevant policies of our city to encourage enterprises to apply for patents overseas, Chongqing enterprises are likely to receive subsidies of up to one million yuan for obtaining overseas patents.
